Rita Edochie, Yul Edochie’s aunt, has marked the one-year remembrance of the death of his son (Kambilichukwu) with his estranged wife, May Edochie.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Rita reflects on the passage of time since his departure from this world, leaving behind sweet memories and unachieved dreams.

She confesses to moments of short-lived hope, almost believing he might return, only to face the harsh reality that his absence is permanent.

In a letter addressed to ‘May’, Rita expresses empathy for the unbearable burden of grief – and stated her unwavering readiness of support for ‘May’.

In the course of expressing her deep sorrow, she acknowledges the pain from Kambilichukwu’s absence, then rendering words of encouragement to ‘May Edochie’ to find the fortitude in carrying on in life.

Rita also re-assures ‘May’ that despite the loss, Kambilichukwu is resting in the arms of the God Almighty, and watching over them as a ‘guardian angel’.

Rita urges ‘May’ to lean on God’s love as an anchor in the storm of sorrow and to trust in His plan for comfort.
